Our Story
Where flowers carry quiet intent
Brand Story
Flowers for emotions that words cannot fully express.
Hana Studio began with a quiet wish — to gently share the emotions, blessings, and stories that flowers can carry. While working in a flower shop, I met people from all walks of life. Some came to celebrate joyful moments, while others were looking for a way to express love, comfort, gratitude, or emotions they could not easily put into words.
Over time, I realized that flowers are more than decoration. They have the ability to bring happiness, create connection, and quietly comfort people during meaningful moments in life. Each bouquet carries a feeling. Each arrangement tells a story.

The meaning behind "Hana"
"Hana" means "flower" in Japanese. Inspired by Japanese craftsmanship and Eastern aesthetics, Hana Studio was created with the belief that floral design can feel natural, intentional, and emotionally meaningful.
We are drawn to soft white and green palettes, natural movement and layered textures, minimal and airy floral styling — flowers that feel calm, timeless, and effortless.
By blending Eastern aesthetics with Western floral design, we hope to create floral pieces that feel both elegant and deeply personal.
Made for Every Moment
At Hana Studio, we believe flowers are not only for special occasions. They are for everyday living — slowing down, celebrating quiet moments, and creating beauty in ordinary days.

Our Floral Philosophy
Made with intention
Eastern
Eastern heart
Rooted in ikebana and other Asian floral traditions. Negative space, asymmetry, and the single most-important stem that makes everything else make sense.
Low-Impact
Kind to the earth
Bamboo kenzan instead of floral foam. Seasonal blooms from BC farms, not air-freighted roses. Compostable wrapping. Zero plastic, always.
Intent
Made with meaning
Every arrangement starts with: what do you want this to say? We design backwards from the feeling — so the person receiving it feels what you meant.

A Softer Way to Celebrate
In a fast and busy world, flowers remind us to slow down. To notice beauty. To feel present. To celebrate gently. Hana Studio was created to bring a softer, more intentional floral experience to everyday life in Canada.
