These terms (“Terms”) govern your use of hanastudio.ca (“the Site”) and any purchase you make from Hana Studio. By using the Site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
1. About us
Hana Studio is a floral business operating in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Contact: hello@hanastudio.ca.
2. Orders & acceptance
- Placing an order is an offer to purchase. The order is accepted only when we send you a confirmation email. Until then we may decline the order for any reason (for example, an item becomes unavailable or we cannot deliver to your address).
- All prices are in Canadian dollars (CAD) and exclude applicable taxes. GST (5%) and PST (7%) are added at checkout for orders shipping within British Columbia, per BC provincial tax requirements.
- We reserve the right to limit quantities, correct pricing errors, and cancel orders placed at obviously incorrect prices.
3. Flowers & product nature
- Fresh flowers are a natural product. Colours, shapes, and stem counts may vary from photos. We will always deliver an arrangement of equivalent style, size, and value.
- Certain flowers and varieties are seasonal. If a specific flower is unavailable, we may substitute one of equal or greater value without prior notice, keeping the overall design intent.
4. Delivery & pickup
- Delivery is available in the Greater Vancouver area. Delivery fees and zones are shown at checkout.
- Delivery times are best-effort. We cannot guarantee a specific delivery time unless explicitly confirmed in writing for an event.
- If no one is available at the delivery address, we will attempt to leave the order in a safe location, with a neighbour, or follow the instructions you provided. We are not responsible for loss or damage after safe-dropoff.
- Pickup orders must be collected from our studio within 3 days of the ready date. Uncollected orders may be discarded without refund.
5. Workshops & events
- Workshop bookings are confirmed on receipt of full payment.
- Wedding and event bookings require a non-refundable deposit, confirmed in a separate written agreement.

6. Account & acceptable use
- You are responsible for the accuracy of information you provide and for any activity under your account.
- Do not use the Site to transmit unlawful, harmful, or infringing content, or to attempt to interfere with the Site’s operation.
- We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms.
7. Intellectual property
All content on the Site — including images, logos, product photography, and written content — is owned by Hana Studio or used under license. You may not reproduce, distribute, or modify any of this content without our prior written consent.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Hana Studio’s total liability arising out of or related to your use of the Site or any purchase is limited to the amount you paid for the order giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages (for example, loss of profits or emotional distress) except where such limitation is prohibited by law.
Nothing in these Terms limits your statutory rights as a consumer under the British Columbia Business Practices and Consumer Protection Act.
9. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable in British Columbia. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of British Columbia.
10. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date above shows the current version. Continued use of the Site after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
